SBW’s Jupiter to Stuart Loop & Picnic
Get ready to roll! Join South Broward Wheelers on November 21st for a scenic trek from Jupiter to Stuart and back. This 50-mile route offers some of the best coastal views in the area, starting and ending at the beautiful Coral Cove Park.
After we log the miles, we’ll transition from the saddle to the sand for a post-ride picnic right at the park. It’s the perfect chance to refuel and hang out with the crew.
Please sign up as soon as possible! We need an accurate headcount to coordinate the ride groups and, more importantly, to make sure there are enough snacks and drinks for the picnic.
Note: Full route details (GPS files) and specific rollout times will be sent to all registered riders as we get closer to the event.

SBW Road Trip: Tour de Cape 2027
Pack your bags, Wheelers! We’re heading to the Gulf Coast for a weekend of riding in Cape Coral, and we’d love for you to join us.
The Plan
Friday, January 22: Drive over to Cape Coral and settle in.
Saturday, January 23: SBW group ride, most likely our favorite Sanibel/Captiva route. Expect island views, ocean breezes, and great company.
Sunday, January 24: Ride in the Tour de Cape! Choose the distance that suits you:

CYCLING PORTUGAL 2027: ROTA VICENTINA & THE ALGARVE
October 20–29, 2027 · 10 Days / 9 Nights · Lisbon to the Algarve
Portugal’s southwest coast is one of Europe’s best-kept cycling secrets. Starting in Setúbal, just south of Lisbon, this route follows the wild Alentejo coast and the Rota Vicentina through cork oak countryside, whitewashed fishing villages, and dramatic cliffs above the Atlantic, finishing in the sunny Algarve. Expect quiet roads, sweeping ocean views, golden beaches, fresh seafood, pastéis de nata, and excellent local wines. Late October brings warm days, comfortable riding temperatures, and fewer crowds.

Arrival: October 20, 2027 (fly into Lisbon) Departure: October 29, 2027 (departure details to be confirmed; see Travel & Transfers below) Duration: 10 days / 9 nights, including 6 riding days and 2 free days
Accommodation: 9 nights in 4-star hotels or similar, with breakfast daily. Both double and single rooms are available, but single rooms are limited.
BASE PRICE: €1,390 per person (sharing a double room)

BIKE OPTIONS
A standard rental bike is included. Gravel and e-bike upgrades are available for an additional cost. We’ll share details at the info sessions.
TRAVEL & TRANSFERS
The tour begins in Setúbal, about an hour south of Lisbon, and ends in Lagos in the Algarve. Transfer options from Lisbon to Setúbal at the start, and from Lagos at the end, are being finalized, including the possibility of a return to Lisbon so you can book a round-trip flight.
FREE DAYS & OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
Days 4 (Vila Nova de Milfontes) and 8 (Sagres) are free days to ride, rest, or explore. Optional activities will be available at an additional cost, and suggestions will be shared closer to the trip.
NOT INCLUDED
Flights, airport transfers, lunches and other dinners, drinks, museum and monument fees, the Setúbal–Tróia ferry crossing, tourist taxes, personal equipment, and personal expenses.

Day 1: Arrive in Lisbon and travel to Setúbal. Bike fit, briefing, and welcome dinner. Day 2: Ferry to Tróia, then cycle to Santo André (69 km / 43 mi) Day 3: Santo André → Vila Nova de Milfontes (56 km / 35 mi) Day 4: Free day in Vila Nova de Milfontes Day 5: Vila Nova de Milfontes → Aljezur (70 km / 43 mi) Day 6: Aljezur → Carrapateira (55 km / 34 mi) Day 7: Carrapateira → Sagres (65 km / 40 mi) Day 8: Free day in Sagres Day 9: Sagres → Lagos (47 km / 29 mi).
